Attorneys Jonathan Goldstein and David Podein Promoted to Senior Associates at the Miami-Based Law Firm of Haber Law, P.A.
MIAMI (July 8, 2015) - The Miami-based law firm of Haber Law, P.A. has promoted associate attorneys Jonathan S. Goldstein and David T. Podein to senior associates.
"David and Jonathan have both made major contributions to the firm and have demonstrated outstanding legal skills in their areas of practice. Both of these attorneys have been critical to our growth and success as a firm. We are extremely happy and grateful to have them as senior attorneys in our firm" said David B. Haber, the firm’s founding partner.
According to Haber, "Podein has dedicated himself to learning the areas of real estate development and leasing, loan negotiations and workouts, construction contract negotiations, commercial litigation and condominium association and homeowner’s association representation. Simply put, he is reliable, hard-working and absolutely brilliant."
As for Jonathan Goldstein, Haber says that "his substantive knowledge of condominium and homeowner’s association law is second to none. In fact, we call him the professor because he has such a comprehensive understanding of this area of the law."
Podein has been an associate with the firm since 2009, concentrating his practice in the areas of complex commercial and business litigation, real estate leasing and construction, contract negotiations, real estate development disputes, condominium and community association law and bankruptcy litigation. A substantial portion of Podein' s practice involves representation of real estate developers, investors, joint ventures, lenders, servicers, and landlords in connection with real estate related transactions, including commercial and shopping center leasing, landlord tenant negotiations, long-term ground leases and development agreements, distressed asset based transactions, and loan work outs and restructurings. Podein received his J.D. from the University of Miami in 2008 and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 2005.
Goldstein has been an associate with the firm since 2013 and was previously a partner in another law firm. His practice areas include Condominium and Homeowners Association (HOA) law, lien foreclosures, commercial litigation and construction litigation. During his years of practice, Goldstein has represented community associations in all facets of general representation and collections, including but not limited to turnover and construction related disputes, covenant enforcement, amendment drafting, board meeting attendance, arbitrations before the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobiles Homes, lien foreclosures, and corporate governance. He has also handled various types of commercial and construction litigation matters. Goldstein earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2006 and his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in 2001. He was included in the 2010 edition of Florida Trend’s "Legal Elite," as an "Up and Comer."
