Kara Olesky is experienced in handling a wide variety of matters in the areas of construction and commercial litigation. Kara represents condominium associations, homeowners, and property owners in matters concerning defective construction and design. In addition, Kara’s practice also includes drafting and negotiating contracts on behalf of owner’s representatives, general contractors, subcontractors and engineers. She also represents owners and general contractors in dispute and delay claims on ongoing construction projects, as well as matters involving Florida’s Lien Law and suretyship.
A seasoned philanthropist in the Miami area, Kara currently serves as the Attorney’s Division Liaison for the Young Leadership Division of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. Through her role on the YLD Board, Kara often hosts networking events, and participates in community service events benefiting the Miami-Dade Community.
Kara graduated from the University of Miami School of Law, having completed two judicial internships. She interned at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida as well as the Florida Third District Court of Appeals. She was also a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami Dade County Public Defender’s Office.
