MIAMI (August 8, 2018) – Haber Law, P.A., a Miami-based business and commercial litigation, construction law, and real estate law firm, is pleased to announce that three of its partners have been promoted to new leadership roles. Franchesco Soto now heads the firm’s Construction Law Department, David Podein was promoted to lead Haber Law’s Real Estate Transactional Department, and Jonathan Goldstein is now the firm’s Community Association Department Leader.

“We are very excited about the future at Haber Law,” said David B. Haber, the firm’s founder and managing partner. “This progression is the result of tremendous teamwork. Real estate, in all cycles, has been and will continue to be an important area of business for our clients.”

Soto has been with the firm since 2012. He concentrates his practice in the areas of construction litigation, complex commercial litigation, and real estate, including the representation of condominium and homeowners’ associations in large Chapter 558 Lawsuits. Soto has experience litigating cases in state and federal court and arbitration proceedings. He was selected to the 2018 list of The Best Lawyers in America for his work in construction law. Soto is one of eight Haber Law attorneys recently named to the 2018 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists.

Podein joined the firm in 2009, concentrating his practice in the areas of real estate and construction law, condominium and community association representation, commercial leasing, secured financing, and business and commercial litigation. Podein’s experience in both litigation and transactional matters enables him to offer a broad and practical perspective to his clients. He was named to Super Lawyers magazine’s 2018 Florida Rising Stars list. In 2017, Podein was named an Up & Comer by Florida Trend magazine in the area of real estate.

Goldstein has been with the firm since 2013. His practice areas include condominium and homeowner and condominium association (HOA) law, commercial litigation and construction litigation. Goldstein is a lecturer and panelist for attorney continuing legal education credit. Goldstein was honored as a Rising Star in the 2018 Florida edition of Super Lawyers magazine, and in 2010, Florida Trend magazine selected Goldstein as an Up and Comer.
