Zachary Landes is Of Counsel at Haber Law and brings over 15 years of experience in complex litigation. He currently represents plaintiffs in high-stakes construction defect and commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Zach served as the managing partner of the Florida office of a prominent insurance defense firm. In that role, he served as legal counsel for clients across a variety of industries, including construction, banking, hospitality, and real estate, among others. He gained invaluable experience defending construction defect, catastrophic injury, and other liability claims on behalf of the largest insurers and third-party administrators in the country. He also served as monitoring and coverage counsel for insurers, including those who issued excess policies and WRAP/OCIP/CCIP policies for large construction projects.
Zach earned a reputation on the defense side for his pragmatic approach, meticulous preparation, and ability to translate complex technical issues into simple and compelling legal arguments. Insurers also valued his commitment to delivering cost-effective claims management and resolution strategies.
Now focused exclusively on advocating for property owners, community associations, and businesses, Zach leverages his inside knowledge of insurance and defense litigation to pursue claims involving defective construction, professional negligence, and contract disputes. His comprehensive understanding of complex construction systems and risk transfer mechanisms allows him to navigate even the most challenging matters with precision and a results-oriented strategy. His unique perspective makes him a trusted advisor and formidable advocate for clients seeking to recover losses and hold responsible parties accountable.
