Edmy Cortijo is a seasoned attorney with over 10 years of comprehensive experience in handling diverse civil litigation matters. Her practice spans various areas, including mediations, residential foreclosures, and all matters of community association, including collection and foreclosures, landlord/tenant disputes, and evictions.

Prior to her role as a litigation attorney at Gursky Ragan, P.A., Ms. Cortijo served as the Managing Attorney at a prominent South Florida law firm specializing in foreclosures and collections. In this capacity, she oversaw creditor/servicer representation within the firm’s Puerto Rico Foreclosure Division. Her responsibilities covered the entire spectrum of collections, bankruptcy, eviction, title, litigation, appeals, and compliance matters in both state and federal courts. Additionally, Ms. Cortijo represented clients before the Puerto Rico Appellate and Supreme Courts.
