MIAMI, Fla. – September 16, 2024 – Haber Law today announced that associates Kara Olesky and Daniel Jovanov have been promoted to partners in the Construction Law Group of the Firm. This move underscores Haber Law’s commitment to expanding its expertise in the Construction Law sector, an area experiencing significant demand due to the ongoing South Florida real estate boom.
Olesky’s expertise includes litigating disputes concerning construction and/or design defects, construction delays, Florida’s Lien Law and suretyship, as well as drafting and negotiating contracts for general contractors, subcontractors, and engineers.
Jovanov’s experience includes litigating lien claims, payment and performance bond claims, owner/contractor and contractor/subcontractor contract disputes, construction and design defect claims, delay claims, property disputes, replevin actions, and claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitration, and is well-versed in addressing issues that arise in both public and private construction projects.
