Daniel Jovanov focuses his practice in the areas of construction and commercial litigation. He represents developers, contractors, owners, community associations and suppliers in state court, federal court and arbitration on matters such as lien claims, payment and performance bond claims, contract disputes, construction and design defect claims, delay claims, property disputes, replevin actions and claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Mr. Jovanov also has extensive experience representing clients with issues that arise in both public and private construction projects.

Mr. Jovanov graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Jovanov worked in construction for a shell subcontractor.  While in law school, Mr. Jovanov served as the staff editor for the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, made Dean’s List four semesters and was awarded the CALI “Book” of Excellence award in Florida Construction Law.
