dsmart@haber.lawDeesha Smart is an associate attorney who concentrates her practice in complex business litigation, including contract disputes, condominium litigation, business fraud, breaches of fiduciary duty, and business torts. Ms. Smart has represented numerous corporations, business entities, condominiums, and individuals in the diverse areas of civil and commercial litigation.
Ms. Smart has garnered substantial experience in all aspects of the litigation process, from the inception of a case through to trial, and continuing on to post-judgment collections. Her work encompassed disputes in federal and state courts. Ms. Smart is known for providing creative and comprehensive solutions to each client’s specific issues.
Deesha graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law. During her time in law school, Deesha served as the Executive Vice President of the Charles C. Papy Moot Court Board and was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review. Deesha also earned memberships in the honorary organizations Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers.
