Jennifer is a bilingual Miami native. She earned a Masters in Paralegal Studies, Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) Chapter, from George Washington University, Washington D.C. She also earned an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.

Jennifer is a Litigation paralegal with over 15 years of experience, with primary focus in civil litigation, in both plaintiff and defense-oriented cases. She has worked in the various areas of litigation and currently is part of our Construction Department Team and works on vast matters in the areas of construction law, commercial and business litigation, and complex business/tort litigation.

Jennifer uses her considerable multitasking and communication skills by providing detailed support to the attorneys and clients. Jennifer’s experience ranges from working and preparing cases from the pretrial discovery stages through and including trial preparation and post-trial appeal process in both State and Federal Court. She assists in managing the discovery process and maintaining all document production, including ESI/e-discovery, and the client case file. She is integral in preparing for mediations, depositions, case evaluations, hearings, and trials, along with maintaining the case calendar and deadlines, and drafting pleadings and letters. She also is extremely proficient in online background searches, non-factual/factual investigations, and research and additionally, has background in office management and assisting in managing, accounting, and organizational work.

Prior to working at Haber Law, Jennifer held the paralegal position at a defense law firm where she handled litigation matters in the areas of negligence, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, dram shop/liquor liability, contracts, construction law, and complex business litigation.

She is a self-starter who takes initiative, possesses leadership skills, and is a team player always ready to assist. She enjoys traveling, reading, getting outside with nature, and especially the vast culture in her vibrant city with her family.
