Maria H. Ruiz is a senior partner at Haber Law in the firm’s Litigation Group. Maria is a commercial litigator with over 25 years of litigation experience representing clients in all stages of litigation in state and federal courts, and in arbitration and administrative proceedings. Her practice focuses on a wide range of litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, defense of consumer litigation, real estate litigation, and products liability. Maria has represented small business owners, publicly-traded companies, developers, and homeowners throughout all phases of litigation, including trials and appeals. She has also represented financial institutions and lenders in diverse matters involving creditor’s rights, mortgage foreclosures and bankruptcy issues. Maria earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami College of law.

Maria has been recognized as a Top Latino Lawyer by Latino Leaders Magazine for her professional achievements and community involvement.
