[email protected]Merick Lewin is an associate attorney with Haber Law, where he focuses his practice on construction litigation. He represents developers, contractors, owners, and community associations in state and federal court.
Mr. Lewin graduated first in his class, summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. He earned six CALI Awards, including in Civil Procedure, Property, and Real Estate Transactions, and was recognized by Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal for achieving one of the highest scores on the Florida Bar Exam. Prior to joining Haber Law, he served as a law clerk at a South Florida commercial litigation firm.
Mr. Lewin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University. He is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Outside the office, Mr. Lewin has served as Chairman of the Board of Take Stock in Children of Broward County, a nonprofit that provides mentoring and college scholarships to at-risk students. He has led the board for over five years and remains active with the organization today.
