Genesis Martinez is a Senior Associate with the Miami law firm of Haber Law. Genesis’ practice focuses on litigation matters including business fraud, contractual disputes for various individuals and corporate entities, complex commercial cases, partnership disputes, and real estate litigation. Her litigation experience includes matters involving international litigation and arbitration, business disputes, and tax controversy. Genesis began her legal career as trial attorney at the Department of Justice Civil Tax Division where she was hired through the Attorney General’s Honors Program. In that role, she gained experience with civil tax litigation in U.S. District Courts and U.S. Bankruptcy courts in suits involving tax and bankruptcy laws, as well as contract, commercial, and property laws. She was awarded a Special Commendation Award by the U.S .Department of Justice in connection with her work at the Tax Division. She also served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Judge Beth Bloom in the U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida.

Genesis is a Miami native who is deeply integrated in her community. She uses her diverse legal background to assist both local and foreign businesses seek practical resolutions to complex legal issues.
