A Message from Our Managing & Founding Shareholder, David B. Haber

Haber Law is taking precautions to keep employees and others safe in the community.

At Haber Law, the health and safety of our employees, clients, professional colleagues, and strategic partners is our top priority. We also want to be responsible members of the business and legal community, including the greater South Florida community.  We are regularly monitoring the CDC website as well as local and state health department websites for up-to-date information on the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have also taken crucial steps to protect everyone’s safety while at the same time providing the continued excellent legal services our clients deserve and have come to expect from Haber Law.

Effective Monday, March 16, 2020 and until further notice, we have implemented the following procedures:

  1. Physical access to the office will now be restricted. We ask that NO visitors come into our office. We will be moving all meetings and depositions to telephonic and electronic video conference formats;
  2. At the link below is a form that must be completed by any potential visitor, in the unlikely event that they absolutely MUST come to the office. All responses on the form are to be “no” in order for a visitor to gain entry to the Haber Law office;
  3. Any deposition scheduled for the Haber Law office will be performed remotely via video conference, or if they must be done in person, will be continued to a later date; and
  4. Pursuant to the Florida Supreme Court Order dated March 13, 2020, all hearings until March 27, 2020 will be performed telephonically pursuant to local court administrative procedures being put into place by local circuit courts. Similar orders are being entered by the federal district courts and bankruptcy courts.

We at Haber Law reaffirm our commitment to providing the most efficient, technologically advanced and valuable legal services to our clients on a timely basis.  Due to our pre-planning, all attorneys have access to GoToMeeting for video conferencing, and all staff and attorneys have remote capability to work from home.

While we are concerned about the well-being of our staff and families, we are also very mindful of the stress this places on our clients.  Should you have any questions, we are here to help you in any way possible.  We will handle your legal needs while you handle your family’s needs. Everyone please stay safe, be prudent, and take care of yourselves.

Sincerely,

David B. Haber
