Karel Serantes serves as the Controller at Haber Law. For the past three years, Karel has led the firm’s accounting operations with dedication and vision, playing a key role in strengthening financial processes, improving reporting accuracy, and delivering insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.

With more than a decade of experience in the private sector, Karel has built a reputation for excellence in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, payroll, and the design of robust internal controls. His proactive and analytical approach consistently provides leadership with the financial clarity needed to navigate complex challenges and seize opportunities for growth.

Karel’s expertise extends beyond technical accounting. He is a strong leader who thrives on building collaborative relationships across departments, working closely with senior management to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Karel holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in accounting and is actively pursuing his CPA certification to further enhance his professional credentials. Outside of the office, Karel enjoys travelling to new destinations, via road trips and cruises, as well as spending quality time with his family and dog.
