rslade@haber.lawRoger Slade is a shareholder with the Miami law firm of Haber Law. Mr. Slade is an AV-rated commercial litigator with over 30 years of litigation experience. Mr. Slade was recently elected the President-Elect of the Miami-Dade Bar. His term will commence in July, 2022.
Throughout his career, Mr. Slade has handled all types of litigation matters including business fraud, class-actions for both Plaintiffs and Defendants, real estate litigation, privacy litigation, commercial collection matters, employment discrimination claims, general business disputes and international family law matters. Mr. Slade was recently elected to Florida Super Lawyers for the tenth year in a row. Mr. Slade’s clients range from public companies, real estate developers, financial institutions to small businesses and individuals.
Roger Slade is a frequent contributor to the Miami-Dade County Bar Bulletin and has authored numerous articles on litigation skills and trial practice. He was the Bulletin’s Editor-in-Chief from 2010-2012. Mr. Slade was formerly an editor of the International Litigation Quarterly, a publication of the American Bar Association. Mr. Slade’s scholarship on litigation can now be found on his blog, which enjoys a substantial readership.
Community Involvement
Mr. Slade served on the Board of the Council for Educational Change which is dedicated to improving the Florida Public Schools. Mr. Slade is the President and Founder of the Heroes of Tomorrow Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising money for college scholarships for local high school students (www.heroesoftomorrow.us). Mr. Slade is also on the Board of Directors of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association.
